A material handling equipment manufacturer for the construction industry had issues with a rack and pinion design on a material delivery platform lift. They required a material lift solution that incorporated synchronized positioning actuators held to 0.010” position accuracy. They did not want to use hydraulics, and electro-mechanical actuators were unable to handle the force loading requirements.
