Challenge

A producer of food products needed an actuation solution to replace a discontinued Tri-Sen actuator that controls a pilot valve for their steam turbine system. They tried an electro-mechanical actuator for this application that failed multiple times. They needed a simple drop-in solution that could handle the shock loads and provide accurate control.

  • “Total Solution” electro-hydraulic valve actuator including the motor, drive, and control contained in an attached stainless-steel enclosure.
  • Closed-loop servo control using position feedback on the actuator.
  • 120VAC powered control solution.
