SPU Series Servo Power Units incorporate numerous design features that make them an ideal alternative to traditional hydraulic power units.

  • Motor mounting adaptor and shaft coupling for customer-supplied motors.
  • AC and DC motor compatible.
  • Power-on-demand, efficient operation saves energy*
  • Precise servo control using external position sensor and integral pressure transducer. Smooth control eliminates abrupt flow changes and stress on hoses and connections.*
  • Dynamic braking for smooth control of over-riding loads.*
  • Closed system eliminates contamination, moisture and air infiltration. Minimal fluid.
  • Works with most any double-acting linear cylinder or rotary actuator
  • Standard ISO 16028 3/8” cylinder connections
  • Up to 10.3 GPM (43.2 LPM) at 3,000 PSI
  • Adjustable relief valves (extend and retract) eliminate over pressure

Motor Mounting Information for SHA Actuator Only and SPU Power Unit Only Options

Kyntonics “Power Unit Only” Option is designed to make the mounting of most standard commercially available motors simple and straightforward.

Motor Mounting Information

Upon determination of the motor frame size and shaft diameter, Kyntronics will determine which of our standard motor mounts and shaft couplings adapt to your choice of motor, and we will include that in the final product configuration.

Kyntronics also offers a service where we will attach customer-supplied motors to the actuator or power unit prior to shipment.
