Kyntronics Hybrid Servo Electro-Hydraulic Long Stroke Linear Actuators

Applications requiring long-stroke actuators [greater than 36” (914 mm) stroke] create unique challenges for the machine designer including greater deflection, reduction in precision and higher costs.

Kyntronics long-stroke Hybrid electro-hydraulic actuators (SHA) address these issues at a far lower cost than ball screw / roller screw actuators and are available in significantly longer stroke lengths up to 120” (3,048 mm) as standard. Kyntronics long-stroke actuators include precision linear position sensors for precise control.

The SHA includes special design features for long-stroke applications that increase the robustness of the actuator such as larger diameter rods, thicker cylinder tube walls, internal tube stops, greater rod bearing length and thicker tie rods. Kyntronics Applications Engineers perform the necessary calculations for your specific application to ensure stiffness, prevention of buckling, reliable operation etc.
