After evaluating traditional HPUs with hydraulic cylinders and electro-mechanical actuators, RMD Systems determined these options were not up to the challenge for this unique application.
RMD Systems turned to Kyntronics, a company whose self-contained actuator technology provided the power, control and ease of integration they needed. The two design teams closely collaborated to provide a series of custom SMART electro-hydraulic actuators for this innovative material delivery vehicle.
