Innovative Actuation Solutions for Every application
An appliance manufacturer was installing a new metal forming press line and wanted to eliminate hydraulics and use electric actuators in the metal forming stations to improve process control and repeatability. They required servo press actuators, including a high-tonnage station, to perform the function of a servo-hydraulic press.
They had downtime issues previously with leaks and wanted to eliminate maintenance using electric actuators that would improve energy efficiency while reducing the space taken by the hydraulic power unit. In addition, the system would need to seamlessly integrate with Rockwell Automation motors and servo drives.
Stroke: 12” Speed: .9 in/sec Force: 170,000 lbf.
