Challenge

An HVAC appliance manufacturer was planning a new sheet metal forming press line and wanted to eliminate hydraulics to improve part quality and reduce operating costs. They had leak issues with hydraulic cylinder actuators on an existing line, causing, excessive maintenance, and wanted to reduce energy consumption on the new line. They required high-force electric linear actuators to perform the bending operations in their metal forming press, and linear actuators for clamping and hole punching stations.
