An automotive tier-one axle manufacturer was implementing a new welding press machine to replace hydraulic cylinder actuators that were leaking, causing environmental concerns and excess maintenance. They required a high-force electric linear actuator that could press a yoke onto a drive shaft and hold it in place while being welded.
