A military customer had a project to retrofit existing hydraulic power units and actuators on shipboard lifting equipment. They needed a long stroke lifting actuator for a control console lifting mechanism with a manual backup feature and reliable operation over a wide temperature range. The controls needed to be packaged in a stainless-steel enclosure with an HMI and software.
