Challenge

A manufacturer of metal cutting and high-wear components wanted to remove hydraulics from grinding machines that had an existing large HPU operating multiple hydraulic cylinders. They were having excessive reliability issues with leaks and environmental concerns.

Kyntronics Solution

  • Two Kyntronics Servo Power Units (SPU) replacing the existing hydraulics that connected with the existing clamping cylinders using customer-supplied motor/drives.
  • Two Kyntronics electric linear actuators using customer-supplied motor/drives.
