Innovative Actuation Solutions for Every application
Kyntronics SHAs are used extensively in pressing applications including; metal forming, assembly, thermosetting, forging, piercing, powder compaction, etc. These users are benefitting from lower energy consumption, cleaner and quieter operating environment, producing better quality parts with less scrap, zero disposal costs and lower maintenance.
Kyntronics has an extensive information library on pressing applications, learn how you can upgrade your presses and begin accruing these benefits for your company.
Our recent webinar; Learn how to Maximize the Benefits of Actuator Performance to help achieve your “Sustainable Manufacturing” goals is now available on demand.
A growing number of global manufacturers are realizing significant environmental, social and economic benefits by using sustainable business practices. These practices are often in response to investor demands, regulatory mandates, environmental concerns and competitive market dynamics. Manufacturing is playing an ever-larger role in a company’s sustainable strategy and many manufacturers are including sustainable manufacturing objectives in their machine specifications.
Actuators perform critical functions in many manufacturing processes and are an integral component on many machines and automated systems. Kyntronics’ VP/GM Carl Richter reviews how different actuation technologies contribute to a company’s sustainable manufacturing goals. This educational event provides an in-depth examination of how each type of actuator impacts the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainable manufacturing along with details on cost savings and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) considerations.
Battery powered Electric vehicles are becoming a mainstay in industrial applications. Actuators are used on many of these vehicles to provide lifting and material handling capability. Success with these applications depends on energy efficiency to prolong battery life, compactness to fit tight spaces, and ability to provide the force necessary to get the job done. Kyntronics Hybrid Electro-Hydraulic Actuators (SHA) are ideal to meet these requirements; with the highest energy efficiency compared with hydraulics and electro-mechanical actuators, and the force density to provide robust power in tight spaces, the SHA is becoming the actuator of choice for many OEMs.
Check out these battery-powered AGV actuation success stories to learn more about how Kyntronics SHAs are solving tough problems faced by these manufacturers.
For years, the only choice was traditional fluid powered hydraulic cylinder actuation systems or electro-mechanical ball screw or roller screw actuators. But now Kyntronics offers alternative actuation technology; the Hybrid Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (SHA). The SHA combines the advantages of hydraulic power with advanced servo- control resulting in an “all-in-one” actuator that outperforms the traditional options.
Kyntronics did not stop there. We teamed up with Rockwell Automation and developed a feature-rich AOI that provides time-saving functionality and a complete solution for our mutual customers. This technology even allows the OEMs/Machine Builders the option to provide their own Rockwell Automation components while utilizing Kyntronics’ AOI to facilitate the integration.
If you want a peek at this combined technology in action; watch the Two-Axis Press Demonstration with Kyntronics Hybrid Electro-Hydraulic Actuator & Rockwell Servo Motors video. The video showcases a live press application demonstration with two Kyntronics’ Hybrid All-in-One Electro-Hydraulic Actuators powered by Rockwell Automation’s Allen Bradley servo motors, drives and PLC and directed by Kyntronics’ AOI and Rockwell Automation’s pressing software.
