A machine builder was tasked to have no hydraulics on their tier-one automotive customer’s new metal form presses. They also required in-process quality checks and data capture due to this being a safety component for the automotive industry. They required servo press actuators to perform the function of a servo hydraulic press along with clamping and hole punching.
