Electro Hydraulic Actuators

Kyntronics Electro Hydraulic actuators are totally sealed, electrically powered, and use an attached motor and integral pump. They operate on a closed circuit using a small volume of fluid that is not exposed to the environment, preventing contamination and does not require replenishment or replacement. They are rated for high force output up to 150,000 lbs (667 kN).

Actuator operation is simple, the motor drives the pump bi-directionally for extend and retract motion of the cylinder rod. A position sensor or limit switches provide feedback to the motor control to determine when the actuator motor starts and stops. These electro hydraulic linear actuators are precisely controllable. When using a position sensor, the actuator is servo-controlled allowing precise positioning using acceleration and deceleration profiles.

High Force ActuatorH Series High Speed/High Force Actuator

Optional internal pressure transducers measure extend and retract pressure at the cylinder piston allowing precise calculation of applied force in both directions. Control of position, force or a combination of both position and force is often used on applications such as pressing, testing, positioning and others to achieve precise servo control of actuator operation.
