Challenge

An OEM had a customer ask for an all-electric solution that did not involve hydraulic lines or HPU. Our solution was a simple, cost-effective design which incorporated an induction motor and VFD. A screw type actuator couldn’t be used for this application due to shock loading and reliability concerns.
