Challenge

An OEM of equipment for the mining industry required a new electric actuator solution for their upgraded door ventilation system. The main challenge with this application was the harsh environment and a unique design for fitment to their door products. In addition, the actuation system needed to be flexible with a wide variety of stroke lengths and force ranges to provide optimal operation of their ventilation doors.
