Challenge

A customer needed a fail-safe actuator for a valve operation. An EMA could not be used for this application, and traditional hydraulics required a lot of maintenance and down time.

• Integrated fail-safe module with extend speed of .2 in/sec to extend rod in case of power loss
• Custom internal valving within manifold
• Kyntronics supplied actuator, reservoir and hydrogen tank
