Welding Position Lift System: Building Truss & Decking Manufacturer

Customer wanted to replace a maintenance intensive Hydraulic Lift System that wasted energy, leaked and incurred significant downtime. Features of this Actuation System:

• Incorporates an Induction Motor with VFD; also available with Servo Motor / Drive
• Utilizes End of Travel Limit Switches in lieu of available linear transducer
• 6,000 LBs (26.7 kN ) force
• 6 in/s extend / 6 in/s retract speed
• 24 in (0.6 m) stroke
• No Brake; Internal Locking Valve Holds Position without Power

Features of this Actuation System:

• Drench Tank lift for food processing facility
• Enclosed motor rated IP67 special epoxy paint on the complete actuator for caustic washdown protection
• 2,000 LBs (8.9 kN ) force
