Challenge
An appliance manufacturer was planning a new dishwasher panel metal forming press line and wanted to eliminate hydraulics to improve process control and repeatability. They had issues with leaks on an existing line and wanted to reduce energy consumption on the new line. They required servo press actuators to perform the function of a servo hydraulic press along with clamping and hole punching stations.
