A consumer packaging machine builder wanted to replace hydraulics on their blister packaging machine, hydraulic die-cutting press with a servo actuator that would be cleaner, more energy efficient and higher-precision solution. They ruled out screw-type actuators due to the shock loads in the die-cut station.
