Painting Conveyor Lift System

Challenge

A tier-one automotive supplier had issues with synchronizing a pneumatic actuator system. They required lifting actuators that could be accurately positioned within 0.010” across the four posts of the lifting platform. They couldn’t use screw-type EMAs due to shock loading and traditional hydraulics were difficult to synchronize and leaked creating maintenance headaches.
