Challenge

A pipe forming machine OEM needed more precise control and a more environmentally-friendly solution than using hydraulics on their tube forming servo press machines. A screw-type EMA could not handle the required force and the shock loads inherent in the process.

We are new to selling Kyntronics, so they helped in making the initial sales calls, had us to the factory for training, worked with our customer to customize the mounting to match current designs and created approval drawings. They also had us ship them the Rockwell motor being used on the application to verify and tune the system before it left the factory.
