Challenge
A gas meter manufacturer needed a versatile solution to clamp and hold a gas meter housing for pressure testing. They required two clamping actuators per fixture to apply enough force to seal the housing for pressurization. They determined traditional hydraulics and EMA system could not be used on this custom clamping system.
