RMD Systems' large robotic delivery vehicle with Kyntronics' SMART electro-hydraulic actuators, is capable of transporting a sensitive payload of over 2,000lbs.
After evaluating traditional HPUs with hydraulic cylinders and electro-mechanical actuators, RMD Systems determined these options were not up to the challenge for this unique application.
RMD Systems turned to Kyntronics, a company whose self-contained actuator technology provided the power, control and ease of integration they needed. The two design teams closely collaborated to provide a series of custom SMART electro-hydraulic actuators for this innovative material delivery vehicle.
