SMART Electro-Hydraulic Actuator for D-Ring Bending Press

Watch the Kyntronics SMART Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (SHA) in a customer production application. In this case, the customer upgraded an existing press frame with the Kyntronics SHA electro hydraulic actuator (EHA) to improve production throughput and quality of their process. The SHA significantly improved quality for the “D-Ring” metal bending process, achieving consistent dimensional output while also increasing production of the press itself. The programmability of the SHA allowed the customer to run different SKUs with a simple parameter selection through a GUI panel that communicated with the SHA.
